You’ll be picked up from your hotel at 7:30 a.m. to begin your safari to the Maasai Mara. Travel southward to the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, where you’ll admire the dramatic escarpment from a distance, then continue to the nearby Little Italian Church to learn about its history. Proceed to Narok, a small Maasai town renowned for its vibrant markets and beautiful curios. Continue on to the Maasai Mara, arriving in time for lunch at the camp, followed by an afternoon game drive to spot the many animals that inhabit this remarkable park. Return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Wake with the dawn to witness a sunrise out on the Maasai Mara. As the sun sets fire to the savannah, you’ll have the chance to watch predators such as leopards and lions out on the hunt while the air is still cool.

After a late breakfast, you’ll take a picnic lunch and head out into the park for a day of discovery as you track the movements of the Wildebeest Migration (seasonal) or go in search of the Big Five.

After an early morning breakfast, set out for an extensive game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, famed for one of the world’s most spectacular bird displays. It is also the only park in Kenya where you can see both black and white rhinos.
